August ::  I Dreamt, I Dream. Rachel Slotnick and Leah Tumerman exhibit at Ainsworth Gallery, in Joliet, Illinois.  OPENING August 13th @ 7pm, showing until Septermber 9th

September :: mitsingen original ‘pink & industry’ on exhibit at Three Birds Gallery Chicago.  Nature vs. Machine

August :: mitsingen submits to the Rogers Park Underpass Mural project and is granted one of 12 CTA/Metra sites to paint [out of 250 Chicago applicants]

...the execution of mitsingen’s Touhy CTA stop, 70 foot mural begins May 2011, and though the design has evolved some since incarnation,  it’s concept [overgrowth and life bursting forth from a Rogers Park streetscape] remains.

July :: mitsingen paints an ‘eye spy’ themed children’s mural for the Mayo Clinic Health System, Sparta Wisconsin Campus.
